Contribute to strengthen epidemiological information systems (including management, control and prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases), in addition to collaboration by supporting research for the development of evidence that strengthen the decision-making process and the development of public health policies. Moreover, facilitate the access and use of new technologies, initiatives and projects that strengthen the utilization of health monitoring information systems. Support actions toward an improved understanding of the International Sanitary Regulations (with the implications and commitments that the countries have acquired), particularly pertaining to air, land and sea ports of entry. In addition, the Office will collaborate with the United States-Mexico Border Health Commission for the development of a border health information platform.
