CARPHA is the Health Agency of the
Caribbean region with a collective response to strengthen and reorient the health system and approach to address the changing nature of public health challenges, particularly in relation to communicable diseases such as HIV / AIDS and Non-Communicable Diseases, such as obesity, cancer, heart disease and diabetes.
CARPHA will support this by adopting a truly people-centred, evidence-based approach to its work. It will also address long term persistent health threats to the Region related to natural disasters
