In support to the efforts of Ministry of Health – Grenada, to reduce Neonatal Mortality, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) facilitated the visit of a team of professionals from Martinique and St Lucia. The team comprised two neonatologists, one nurse specialized in neonatology and one pediatrician specialized in cardiology. Dr. Jacqueline Bird, a pediatrician from St Lucia with recognized experience in community-based health initiatives, was also part of the team.
