Workshop Training on Inspection of Ships and Ports, Grand Barbados 22-24 March 2011

The IHR is an  international legally binding instrument on 194 countries (States Parties), including all 193 WHO Member States.  Its pupose is to  prevent, protect  control and provide a public health response to the international spread of disease in ways that are commensurate with and restricted to public health risks, and which avoid unnecessary interference with international traffic and trade.
