
Social Determinants of Health of the Indigenous Peoples October 22th – 24th , 2008 Quito, Ecuador In preparation for the Regional event, participants agree on the need to ensure preparatory work, particularly dialogue among Indigenous peoples to feed up the regional government - Indigenous leader’s dialogue. Expected results ► Develop a proposal for an Integral Regional Action Plan to address the social determinants of health of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas considering the priorities established in the CD37.R5 (1993), CD40-R6 (1997), CD47.R18 (2006) PAHO Resolutions. ► Generate a common agenda among the countries, Indigenous peoples of the Americas, and international cooperation on social determinants of health of the Indigenous peoples that take into account the national and local priorities.
