Health Cluster in Haiti. Haiti Earthquake. Bulletin No. 10, 29 January 2010
In order to enhance coordination between health actors, information on the location and services offered by organizations will be presented to Haiti’s Prime Minister today, Friday.
LSS/SUMA, the humanitarian supply management system, will be reinforced at the airport with additional human resources and will be installed at the port in Port-au-Prince.
After the earthquake, around 14,000 people fled to the Dominican Republic, some of which required healthcare services. Individuals are now relocating along the border where medical and humanitarian services in this area are inadequate.
