Cajanus volume 40 No. 3, 2007- Public Policies in Agriculture for Health and Nutrition

In collaboration with FAO, CFNI organized a symposium

which included several Agriculture Ministers and senior

agriculture and Food specialists in the region to identify clear

guidelines on how agriculture/food policies can impact on

obesity and NCDs through the availability of healthy foods, the

behaviour of consumers to make healthy food choices, and how

these in turn can stimulate growth in the food and agriculture

sectors.This CAJANUS issue presents the keynote presentations

of the symposium.
