'Your Health is in your steps' is celebrated for Caribbean Nutrition Day, June 1, 2010. In tandem with the rest of the Region, the CFNI Jamaica Centre mounted a topical display and hosted an aerobics hour on June 1, heralding the theme.
Under the thematic area of strategies for Promotion and Dissemination, the Institute features the organization of regional nutrition competitions: the Caribbean Schools’ Food and Nutrition Quiz Competition and the Caribbean Nutrition Promotion Competition. The Institute seeks to empower individuals and communities to be proactive in protecting their own health and reducing the risk of developing food and nutrition-related health problems
