Under the thematic area of strategies for Promotion and Dissemination, the Institute features the organization of regional nutrition competitions. The Three-fold objectives are "To Improve the Image of Food and Nutrition in the Region" To Promote Healthy Lifestyles among Students and Community" "To Help Students in Preparation for Local and External Examinations in Food and Nutrition"

The Institute seeks to empower individuals and communities to be proactive in protecting their own health and reducing the risk of developing food and nutrition-related health problems.
