Launching of the book “Mental health in the community” in Argentina and Chile

A few months ago, the Regional Project on Mental Health and Rehabilitation of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and The Expanded Textbook and Instructional Materials Program (PALTEX) made a joint presentation of the second edition of Mental health in the community.  

At regional level, the official launching took place in Argentina, at the Buenos Aires International Book Fair, on April 23. The event was attended by Antonio Pagés, Representative of PAHO in Argentina, Jorge Rodríguez, PAHO Principal Adviser on Mental Health, and by local authorities.

During the same week the book was launched at the University of Córdoba, Argentina, and in Chile. With the support of the Ministry of Health and PAHO, the public presentation in Santiago de Chile was made at the Ministry’s Headquarters.
