Regional Report on Suicide Mortality in the Americas

The report on “Suicide Mortality in the Americas” was prepared and coordinated by the Mental Health, Disabilities, and Rehabilitation Project (THR/MH) in collaboration with the Statistics and Health Analysis Project (HSD/HA) of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO). The report provides an overview of the pattern of suicide in the Americas at a regional and subregional level, as well as in selected countries, by examining age, gender, methods used, and how suicide trends have changed over time.
