Researcher in health administration and professor at Brazil’s Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ) Aldolfo Chorny describes his studies in National Public Health School and his work on strategic planning in Brazil, Washington and later Central America.

A native of Argentina, Chorny considers that a health system should be regionalized and formed by service networks. He also emphasizes the importance of research as an instrument of knowledge in the world. He believes that research should be part of daily work throughout the world and considers that to be ignorant about research is to not know that one can attempt to know reality.
