The Global Forum on Communications was held from 24 to 26 November 2010 in Geneva, Switzerland, to promote the basis for the formulation of a strategy for the World Health Organization (WHO), bringing together media professionals from the Organization and from its regional offices. The conclusion: a group will define a global communication proposal for WHO. Among the projects, improved communication capabilities for WHO regional teams will be one of the major initiatives through a training to be conducted during 2011.
PAHO/WHO, Regional Office for the Americas and the Caribbean, also participated, through the area of Knowledge Management and Communication.
