Instant coverage of PAHO’s 51st Directing Council

Dra. Mirta RosesThe 51st Directing Council of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) will be held in Washington DC, the nation’s capital from 26 to 30 September 2011.

This Council is composed of representatives of all the Member States and meets once a year to analyze and determine the general policies of PAHO, acting on behalf of the Pan American Sanitary Conference, which is our supreme authority and meets every five years.

To celebrate the importance of PAHO’s 51st Directing Council, we have created this Blog, where you can immediately read about, watch, and listen to all of the event’s highlights.
