The PAHO Bahamas Representation continued to actively support The Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands [TCI] in relation to their preparedness and response to the H1N1 Influenza A emergency.  On Thursday 11^th June 2009, Mr. Samuel McIntosh, our General Services Officer, presented 264 therapeutic doses of Tamiflu to the Ministry of Health of the Turks and Caicos Islands.  In this photograph, Mr. McIntosh is seen presenting these Influenza treatments to Ms. Denise Saunders, the Permanent Secretary, and Dr. Rufus Ewing, the Director of Health Services, in Providenciales, TCI.
